A Journey to the End of the Night

Can you SurviveDC?

SurviveDC 2014 was the largest on record at 1800 participants! The event date has passed, but sign up for the invite list for 2015 to get a reminder email next year. Check out the photos from 2014!

The city spreads out before you. Rushing from point to point, lit by the slow strobe of fluorescent buses and dark streets. Stumbling into situations for a stranger’s signature. Fleeing unknown pursuers, breathing hard, admiring the landscape and the multitude of worlds hidden in it.

SurviveDC is a race through the streets of DC. You will try to visit checkpoints as fast as you can while avoiding being caught by chasers. Those who survive will be praised and feted at the end. Those who fall will become chasers themselves, rising to pursue their former friends and allies.

How to SurviveDC
From the makers of SurviveDC: The Movie

Rules to Live By:

  • Start as a runner

Tie your blue ribbon visibly around your arm, keep the orange for later.
And remember - no buses, cars or bikes!

  • Evade the chasers

But if you're caught, trade in your blue ribbon as their prize. Put on the orange, and you become a chaser.

Beware of cars - this is real life.

  • Run for your life

If you can make it this far, just hit every checkpoint and make it to the finish line. Good luck!
